Willow

In the year 1988, Mindscape, Inc. developed a 1st-person perspective game by the name Willow. You can now play it online here.

Willow description

Multifaceted arcade game based on the film, and its diversity.

First, there is an exceptional variety of levels (and that is especially pleasant, they are all connected somehow with the episodes): there will be forests filled with bandits, and ice caves, and the castle of the evil Queen, and dungeons, and much more. It is noteworthy that almost at every level we will have a different perspective of view: in the dungeons and the ice caves, for example - the first person on the roof of the castle to one side, in the forest – top.

Secondly, and this game is most remarkable, - it can be played in different ways. Successively, level by level. And you can select "read book", where on the screen in front of you will unfold a beautiful manuscript in the old style. Flipping through its pages, you by clicking on a particular special picture, can choose to self through that episode, what you want.

The game already supports EGA and looks in this mode (irrespective of the prospects of the review) is more than great. A masterpiece to call it impossible, but the General impression is very positive. To all fans of unusual arcades is highly recommended.

Relive your old memories by playing Willow free and online on your browser now.
