Going on the intergalactic b-movie festival, the main character Vinyl Goddess from Mars did not expect that her ship will cater directly under a meteor shower. Crash land on an unknown planet, she found that he had lost not only the spaceship but also all their valuable gear, without which it is impossible either to repair or to continue the journey. However, the brave girl is in no hurry to give up and decides to find the missing items and gear, alone standing face to face with all the dangers that made her strange and unusual world, by chance became her prison...

The gameplay is Vinyl Goddess from Mars is consistent with its uncomplicated plot. We wander through the narrow paths of the global map, from time to time bumping into the blue circles symbolizing the entrance to a particular level. Without the completion of these intermediate levels to move on will not work, so the visit will eventually have them all. During the passage of the levels of Vinyl Goddess from Mars turns into a mediocre platformer and players, controlling the girl have to climb on high mountain ledges to descend into deep and dark underground ruins, look for hidden passages that lead to prizes and extra lives, and, of course, continually destroy incalculable army of enemies. The latter include virtually all the species of flora and fauna of unexplored planet: a huge man-eating plants, spitting blobs of acid, big-eyed flying balls, fancy two-legged animals, spewing out of his mouth the fire, even spooky skeletons, which will not fail to throw in your own bones. To get rid of such annoying obstacles to freedom and civilization will help the girl immediately found a weapon that presented a fairly extensive Arsenal of propellants. Here you can find and ordinary daggers, and sharp shurikens, and bottles with flammable mixture, and even mystical fireballs. Well, all these means to destroy the enemy hordes are different not only in appearance but also the speed and trajectory than make the game a no-diversity and force players to adapt to his features.

In addition to such annoying moving obstacles and you will be confronted with obstacles fixed. Often for promotion as on the global map and local level is necessary to open various doors and grates, and for this it is necessary to have a suitable to a particular door key. Usually the searches don't last long, but if we remember that our path is constantly interrupted ditches with stakes at the bottom, an irresistible-looking rocks and bloodthirsty monsters, the game becomes very dynamic and does not tolerate much thought in nature. It is noteworthy that the levels require you to find five or six keys in different parts of the small labyrinth, mixed with the "straight" arenas to overcome, which is that will need to quickly press the button hit. Thanks to this decision of the developers players can in a sense relax from a tiring run through musty caves and warm up in the fresh air, destroying a few dozen pesky opponents.

Unassuming, but has very beautiful graphics, pleasant music and mediocre, but nevertheless fun gameplay, Vinyl Goddess from Mars will surely find its way to the hearts of lovers of quality old arcade games. Attractive heroine, hordes of monsters and a series of simple maze-levels – more than enough to spend at the computer several hours.
