Tennis Cup

Tennis Cup, a DOS game was released by the very talented group Loriciel SA in 1990. Little did they know that they will end up making history. Play this game again here.

Tennis Cup description

Tennis simulation game by French company Loriciel.

To say this game will not work – it's pretty standard and somewhat mediocre tennis simulator. Before the game, you can choose a player and one or another of its modes (training, specific match and the championship, among which is the Davis Cup).

The game allows you to play together on one computer, and in this case, the screen is divided into two parts with a horizontal line. But the trouble is that when playing alone with a computer opponent screen is similarly divided into two parts, which play very uncomfortable. Also raises a lot of questions AI of the opponents and control: for example, about the mesh, you can take almost any ball, but the shot, on the contrary, make an extremely hard (no matter how hard to try to do this).

Graphically, the game looks pretty nice, the third person in the back. In principle, it could be recommended to all fans of tennis simulators if not one "but" - the existence of the second part, which only became more and everything became better (more Championships, removed the split screen when playing one, and so on). In fact, you can even say that the second part is a little improved and fixed first, so in global terms a few differences between them, so today the Tennis Cup is of more historical interest.

PS: unlike the second, the first part was never published outside of France, so all in-game texts in French (though they are very few, that understand all it is possible).

Enjoy playing Tennis Cup online, it can be played on your browser and is free.
