Powerdrome description

A futuristic racing game with first person view along the narrow open tunnel on the surfaces of distant planets.

The action takes place in the XXIV century, good or bad – is difficult to determine (but probably still bad). Drive to be on the small planes of the type of gliders, instead of tracks, as has been said, - tunnels, but with the open sky (though sometimes meet and closed).

The tunnels are not "homogeneous" and not straight - not Tunnels of Armageddon here often for the next turn can wait for a really cool bend or curl so that break – nothing. Kind of helps the pattern color of the walls of the tunnels – it is possible to determine from a distance whether a section of the wall protrusion, or, conversely, niche. Often, attention to this detail, especially considering the high speed flight, can save lives.

There are much more interesting features – for example, different atmosphere on each of the planets, which have different influence on your vehicle. This should be considered when setting up the machine before the race – to put the desired filters (setting is responsible for a separate screen). On open roads the fuel consumption is faster, so there are small stocks. And so on – to study the characteristics of this "smart" race can be a long time.

Graphics almost three-dimensional, but I found it too monotonous. Alas, though the route is long, but contain just a few colors, no environment is completely absent. But it's understandable – Powerdrome still, in any case, not an arcade game this is a very complex and serious game, in which the passage of even a simple route is often a real feat, so to divert attention from the road should not be nothing. If you like the old "hardcore" racing with a touch of futuristics – you are welcome.
