Pharaoh’s Revenge description

Extremely dynamic and very amusing arcade game. In it you play as a grave robber, who broke the peace of the mummy of the Pharaoh and must now run away from the angry ruler of Upper and Lower Egypt, breaking the vertical maze with a few stairs.

Levels in the game a huge amount – two hundred and fifty pieces. Each level is a separate screen consisting of surfaces in the form of "reclining angles", located one above the other. The player's task – to find a way out of this maze, putting the ladders in specific locations of surfaces to climb or descend. The game has no time limit, however, first, the number of stairs on each screen is limited (and just put a ladder over to take it is impossible), and secondly – remember that you are pursued by a mummy, to beat that no way.

The game has virtually no backgrounds, but your hero, the mummy and the little details of the environment are drawn quite nicely (in particular, the game supports EGA mode). But, of course, the main thing in this game is not picture, but the tension and complexity of the gameplay. Both here is more than enough: it is impossible to relax even for a second, to break away is also not impossible. Add to that the fact that today the game has become a huge rarity - and enjoy touching the real forgotten classics!
