Joe Montana Football description

American football simulator, named after the distinguished player and coach in those years.

The game is fully consistent with the rules of real American football all teams and players are fictional (the teams are called the names of real cities, but not their teams). There are several game modes – practice match, single match, season in the League and individual training goals. You can control the player you have chosen before the match (!) it is possible to choose attacker or defender, for example, and deal only with reception of the balls or return passes; wherein there is a separate search option "free" player, who can pass the ball. An interesting feature is the ability to record and maintain certain aspects of games.

At the time of the game for some reason has been criticized because of the complete lack of managerial elements (training, buying and selling and so on), but she was not announced as a management simulation. On the other hand, AI opponents and your team members is really poor, a choice of difficulty levels in the game, and the same can be said about the movements available to players.

Prospect review – isometric (with close-UPS in some moments), the field, the players and even the floor (which are not always visible) is drawn very high quality for its time. The overall verdict – the game is not without flaws, and, because of its focus strongly on the fan, but by far not the worst and pretty exotic for us simulator games.
