Chess Player 2150

Chess Player 2150, a DOS game was released by the very talented group Oxford Softworks in 1990. Little did they know that they will end up making history. Play this game again here.

Chess Player 2150 description

Extremely rare and little-known simulator of chess.

In fact, for this reason, any extensive descriptions of this game cannot be done, except to describe a few of its features. First, it is objectively very difficult (that is, in order to play it, you need to have at least average chess training), and secondly, any party at any time can be saved (which is nice), third, in addition to "normal" (in terms of figures) mode, there's two: one, all the pieces become different farm animals (and, characteristically, the king is presented in the form of pigs...), and the second – different types of aliens. In addition, the game supports both 2D and псевдо3D mode.

Itself graphics in a chess game, especially the old, to assess probably won't (although it does not in any way bad). Verdict – a perfect gift for lovers of complex chess on the screen, and for collectors (the game is a great rarity).

PS: In the PC version, unlike the Amiga version, there is no digitized speech in the form of comments to moves. Unfortunately.
