Uncharted Waters: New Horizons description
We will talk about the game Uncharted Waters 2: New Horizonts, my favorite game in the genre of Maritime adventure (the genre of the game is not easy to define, there are RPGs, strategy, and trading, but those who played in notorious in its time, Pirates!, will understand, about what speech).

The game tells the story of the period, roughly corresponding to ages 15-17, that is, about the time of the discovery of America and establish trade relations between Europe and Asia, also remembered the most active struggle between the Maritime powers for the title of strongest.

On consoles it was three parts. The second part is probably the most famous of them, although the cult status it gained in Asian countries. Meanwhile, the game is very, very interesting!

Interesting it made everything from the graphics. Despite the fact that when it was released the PC version of the game was the 1995-th year, the graphics in the game uses the EGA adapter (640x480x16) - actually, as I understand it, is the signature feature of PC games from KOEI. And I must say, the graphics are gorgeous, despite the technical limitations!
Quite unusual and very nice feature, New Horizons - you can choose the main character, and this will change everything, that is, in fact, we have 6 different games in one. I think it has spent a huge amount of time and effort, but it more than paid off: the game you want to return years later (by the way, I never passed). In the Intro to the game briefly describes the characters and gives their portraits in full screen. All of them, as I mentioned, 6 pieces, namely:
Joao Franco is the son of the protagonist of the first part, the Portuguese, looking for the lost continent - Atlantis.
Catalina Erantzo - the Spaniard, a former officer in the Spanish Navy, pirates now with a view to avenge the death of his brother and husband, which accuses the family of Franco.
Otto Bayanes officer of the British Navy, sent by the king of England to fight against the Spaniards.
Ernst von Bohr is a Danish teacher-cartographer wants to map the entire world.
Pietro Conti is an Italian treasure hunter to pay for your debts, travels the world in search of relics and artifacts.
Ali Vezas is a Turk is a merchant. In addition to trade, also looking for his missing sister.
Accordingly, after selecting one of these characters, you are offered and the activity - to fight, to trade, find treasures, etc., it's all very exciting, but to me personally the most interesting thing was just to travel and collect treasures. Also, of course, you can follow the story line, but it is not necessary, and you can return to it at any time. All the stories are interlinked and playing for one hero, you will always meet others.
Dialogue in the game very much and they are interesting and carefully written. Unfortunately, the player's participation in these dialogues is only the Enter key is pressed.
First, New Horizons may not impress too, especially now that there are more advanced in the technical terms of the game of this topic, but for me none can compare with her passed the romance of travel, and I'm sure, starting to play, any fan of adventures will be delayed and will not rest until it does not examine the whole world far and wide!
