The Horde description

The original real-time strategy game "The Horde" has become one of the most unusual games coming out as partly exclusive editions for systems equipped with MPEG-accelerator trademark ReelMagic, - born within a month after the release of the standard CD version. In contrast to other known to date, superior in terms of playing clips of incarnations, such as "Dragon's Lair" or "Return to Zork", the visuals have creations Toys for Bob is nothing more than an optional illustrative material: in other words, the actual gameplay as in fact and in appearance absolutely identical with that of even the first diskette-based version.

But FMV-insert look now is truly stunning: where an ordinary CD version showed pale and very pixel animated images in a small window of 160×200, proud owners of expensive expansion cards can enjoy full screen video 352×240, characterized as unprecedented at the time, smoothness, and tens of thousands of shades of bright palette. But because of this rare and almost forgotten today, the variation of the story of a young Chauncey is to extract from the waters of oblivion and bestow his attention at least to his own eyes to see the real picture of the calamitous feast from the king of Winthrop! Of course, if you already got the appropriate computer equipment.

Have you ever wondered what kind of video games were played in the good old days? Try playing The Horde online now and we are sure you will not stop playing again.
