Playing for a young surfer John McQueen (John MacQuinn), studied the art of the ninja, whose task is to defend his own island off the coast of California from a terrible gang of the Chinese mobster Colonel Chi (Colonel Chi).

Gameplay technically is a hybrid of platforming and adventure, but in reality it is just a fighting game on the passage. The point of the game – consecutive sweep of the screens with the side view from the hostile ninjas (multiple displays form level). There is a possibility (and even necessity) to enter the building. The element of adventure is that sometimes for further promotion will be necessary to solve some simple "puzzle" - usually with the help of any object. To store items the hero has bar stock, but at a particular point in time there can be only one subject.

The graphics are wonderful – particularly pleased with how fantastic the drawing, and "ideas" and content detailing the backgrounds of the screens that is visually very nice to play. But only until the moment, don't know what Surf Ninjas is a terribly monotonous game. Here bright and differing screens, but essentially the same opponents. Yes, our hero can not so little, and then get the opportunity to use real ninja weapons (that somehow diversify the game), but really interesting gameplay, unfortunately, can not be named. So recommended game in the first place or the fans of the same movie, or fans of all games about ninjas, or just fans of beautiful hand-drawn platformer.
Further into level one; at least the backgrounds are varied.
