RoboCop 3 description
The third part of the adventures of Robocop on the big screen monitor – three years later. Yes, alas, exactly because the second PC did not come out.
The plot revolves around the new movie about the brave cyborg – he has to fight with the terrible brainchild of Japanese mega-corporations – ninja-Android, which it plans to replace the police, but at the same time uncover a terrible conspiracy...
Changes to the game revolutionary, but relate, for the most part, the graphics and gameplay. Now everything is in full 3D (it was the most advanced game at the time), you can fight in first and third person, you can ride bemobile and even fly with the help of special devices, there is a colorful race-chase and virtual shooting range (where you have to get it at enemies and not to hurt civilians)... And how do you two different game modes – the "film mode" (adventure) or "arcade mode" (action)?
A lot of things: the game actually combines several genres and it's all very beautiful. But after some time it begins to seem that something's wrong here... it's all good, find fault with well, not what, but the game is somehow not happy. Alas, it is the "spirit" of the first Robocop...
But not good it can only be the case if you are too much like the first part and expect the same, only perhaps more beautiful. No, RoboCop 3D is a completely different game, and the differences do not end with these two characters at the end. Made entirely by other people and probably with very different objectives, it constituted almost the first time in history, when the atmosphere is killed for the sake of technology. However, it turned out fun anyway and at least look at it – after all, a true three-dimensional wonder of that era, when the concept of something that has not really happened. By the way, is fine and fans of multi-genre games.
