Robak

A DOS game was developed by CORDAT-Kraków and then released by Michal Kisielewski in 1991, the game was called Robak. Now you can relive the memories by playing it online here.

Robak description

Quite a tolerable Polish clone of the "Snake" in which the player have to help the worm (it is translated the name of the game) to satisfy hunger through the gathering of various edible pieces and crawl from one level to another.

In the core of the gameplay lies timeless classics, sprinkled with a little bit of the author's vision. This immediately draws attention to itself, starting with the main menu, which shows all the types appearing on the screen objects and the number of points given for them. This list should read carefully, as not all of the specified there is always helpful. Immediately after the start of the level, the worm has a length of ten units, the number of which will increase in proportion to saturation, and as soon as it reached the required length, you will see the exit door. But an interesting point is that not everything that is eaten, increases the tail of the protagonist: for example, some objects after the acquisition will bring points, but takes a length, and some will remain on the screen until the very end of the session and will charge a bloody bribe at every contact, so the player is required a certain accuracy and care.

Some "traditions" gives a graphic solution: Robak completely monochrome. Not as simple as it might seem at first glance and at lower levels. For this reason, it is recommended to educate all lovers of classic arcade games.
