Passengers on the Wind description

Very, very strange game that, in my opinion, still cannot be called a text adventure game with graphics, what it is called almost everywhere, she looks more like a "novel in pictures", where you mostly just watching the story than playing the game.

The plot, incidentally, is quite interesting, albeit based on a completely unknown we have a French comic of a certain françois Burana. The action takes place in the late XVIII century, in the era of the great French revolution and continuing at the time or even a thriving trade in Negro slaves. The main characters – a French naval officer, Hal and adventurous (and really – aristocrat) Iza; the first was forced to flee from France to Africa (!), as he is accused of a murder he didn't commit, and second, all property was taken away the rebellious "lumpen", which she herself prepared fate is clearly not better than the Royal couple Bourbons. Odyssey of heroes will pass through many exotic countries, and that the goal, of course, is to return home and restore their good names by proving the innocence of the Hole and to restore the legitimate rights ISA...

But to expect from the game something extra interesting is not worth it. The whole gameplay is a browse pictures and read "thoughts" and conversations of the characters at the bottom of the screen. Sometimes there appears to "choose" a particular reflection or response – and this is the only interactive action that you can make, and many of the selected phrases by the end of the game can change.

"Play" thus, incidentally, have for the main characters, and even a very large number of people, - that is, you play a role of almost "the author of the novel". It's worth making a small digression about the game interface. First you need to choose a character whose actions you want to manage (by clicking on his portrait). He will appear in the lower left corner of the screen and to the right of it will appear two scales: click on the first allows you to move on to other characters, click on the second to the choice of their phrases. But not always at the same time you click, you will have some choice of these phrases...

Graphically the game looks, in principle, worthy for its time, colored pictures, though, of course, is static and, to put it mildly, not very high degree of drawing. But to recommend this thing to anyone difficult, it is even a full game can be called with some degree of conditionality.
