Luigi & Spaghetti description

One of the most well-known (but still known enough in narrow circles) the Spanish Princess, the first part of the dilogy about the adventures of Luigi.

The plot is simple: the Earth was invaded by aliens. But this time they were very cautious and had previously kidnapped the earth's many famous characters (from films, comics and so on) that could resist them, and have been consistently and systematically to colonize our planet. But they didn't know that it lives Luigi and his hand worm (!) Spaghetti... Yes, because Luigi has got the order that all the glory in video games always gets at least the mustache and not less cheerful brother, whose name is too well known to call...

Brave heroes have to go through seven levels to free the characters (including Indiana Jones, Luke Skywalker, and others), at the same time destroying (by naprawianie on top of them), numerous eggs of the aliens. Levels include Ancient Egypt, England of the times of the Dark Ages (i.e. Kamelot), Transylvania (which still cannot be called a very medieval), Italy, the Amazon jungle, the US and even the moon. Moreover, each of these levels have to deal with the local monsters (in Egypt it will, of course, mummies in Transylvania – characters of classic horror movies, i.e. Dracula, Frankenstein's monster and so on). If enemy hero does not die from one blow, but with the health he is not too big; however, it is possible to get temporary invincibility by collecting bonuses in the form of the letter "S" (a hint of Superman).

Hints and all sorts of allegories in the game in General a lot. Described above probably makes it clear that she is not a "serious" (in terms of plot) arcade, and in General entirely comical action, a storyline which really not: it's just a collection of jokes and amusements of all kinds. But the gameplay itself is much more serious: the levels are huge, the monsters are strong, and the passage is not straightforward. In General, everything is as it should be in this old platformer. It is strange that the game was released only for DOS.

Terms of graphics it looks great – the characters are unusually large and drawn extremely clearly and accurately, and the same can be said about the bright and varied backgrounds. As the game itself – it really is a great platformer and a real classic, though never published outside of his native country.
