Baron: The Real Estate Simulation description

It is possible that this is the only computer simulation of a businessman in the real estate market. That is, you are not the developer, and it is the investor who makes money on the purchase and sale of real estate and plots.

Turn-based game, each turn equals one month; the initial capital is two hundred forty-five thousand dollars, but any immovable property you have owned yet. Before buying an item you can and should assess its investment attractiveness, considering different factors such as location, starting price, a specific property, the anticipated schedule of down payments, monthly operating expenses and so on. There are even options that is if you want to buy some object, but I can't do it now, there is a chance to enter into a contract for its purchase by a certain date; however, to pay for such an agreement somehow is not necessary, and indeed this point the game is not too realistic.

There is also the possibility to earn money on the secondary mortgage market, and even become a business partner in real estate with his uncle (!). Of course, in the game there is a news reports about the real estate market, which should carefully be studied in order to track price changes. In addition, this thing is very valuable because it clarified many concepts of the real estate market, that is also an educational element takes place.

Overall – very interesting and unusual thing. Graphics is completely absent, but for this game it is not needed. In principle, the game can even be used as an educational aid for future evaluators.
