Do you think old video games are boring? Play Alien Olympics, it is a 3rd-person (Other) perspective game developed by Mindscape, Inc. and released on DOS in 1994. You will then know that you were wrong.

Alien Olympics description

Very atmospheric arcade-sports game, dedicated to megaplanet Olympics 2044.

A choice of eight characters (yay – not one of them is the man!), there are no teams – each alien will have to make in all fifteen (!) sports, competing with other family members. The perfect athlete is not – each has its own advantages and disadvantages (someone strong, but slow runs, some good shooting, but bad jumps, and so on). Each character has unmatched animated dossier which details all its characteristics (with his help, you can choose a character).

Before the Game you can go through the training for each sport. Also do not have, in principle, to undergo a full Olympics, you can select only a few or even only one match. In any game mode have the opportunity to fight with a live opponent on the same computer (with a horizontal line divided the screen).

List all kinds of events is not: first, it long, secondly – even though they are reduced in meaning to familiar races, long jump and height, running, firing, throwing, and so forth, presented each so unusual and entertaining way that to spoil the surprise should not.

Graphically, everything looks very nice and bright, for each sport has its own beautifully designed background. Oh and how lovingly made models of aliens and animation of their various movements – you just have to see. Verdict – a very good, bright, multifaceted and not too difficult game to play, great way of spending leisure time.

Not sure how to pass your time, why not play our classic videogame Alien Olympics online? And the best part, it is for free!
