Bamba description

One of the most famous Israeli children's (and perhaps - that and not only) games, but, unfortunately, with overtones of advertising: its main character, a cave boy Bamba, is a trademark of the same name brand snacks-snacks. According to some sources, in Israel, these foods are still produced, and this game became the progenitor of a "mini-franchise" electronic entertainment published, of course, exclusively for the domestic market. She herself, and is distributed free of charge, on diskette, place in packing of snacks (about the same as the West did with the Chex Quest).

In Hebrew the Internet Bamba for some reason consistently defined as "a children's platformer" - but it seems that in reality it is not. First, the real platform element (even if the hero is able to bounce slightly) here read what there is; secondly, only marked that fact does not make the game simple: on the contrary, it is not too intuitive, and the target audience, if as such to consider small children, and is hardly passable. The genre taking place much closer to the puzzle: the player is required to collect packages with snacks and give them to various animals (squirrels, monkeys, owls, bees and a lot of people) blocking the path, which after receiving the Goodies disappear, thus freeing the way for him. As additional bonuses are offered to take occasionally seen in Israeli letters of the alphabet that make up the slogan of the trademark (again the ads!).

But to make this process much more difficult than in words. First, even at the start of the animals more than snacks - and despite the fact that additional packs from time to time can appear out of thin air, you should try to logically understand, who of visible animals need to give a snack first, to be able to move on (and who, perhaps, should not give it at all, because for these animals the way there). Second, let any violence is almost non-existent, and all animals seems to be non-aggressive and even presented as static images, in fact the world of bamboo - jungle is extremely dangerous, and the health of the protagonist that appears in the scale at the bottom of the screen, can be exhausted very quickly. We should approach the animal closely, not while having a snack, as the bamboo would hit him. It's worth the time not to get up on all fours and hit his head on a tree branch - and again trauma. But if (for example because of other deadly and, most importantly, inconspicuous traps are also missing) to step on the part of the rope ladder without steps - there will be a drop in the unfortunate child with height ending in instant death. And all this on the easiest difficulty level from the three possible - if anything, the Israeli "child hardcore". But again, that goes this game is still almost exclusively on logic and not "reflexes," and in this regard all the more puzzling, as it could offer kids. And just note that the language barrier is an obstacle for the passage will not be accurate, since the texts are virtually none.

Visually Bamba looks very cute: bright drawn two-dimensional graphics, a large model of the main character and the animals of different funny animation effects (including the "stars" the child's head after hitting something...). Even its origin, despite the Intrusive advertising in the introductory clip, not too annoying, because it is unexpected for such a product difficulty and triviality are of genuine interest. Here is such a curious artifact: complex "pseudobetckea" the puzzle of the "mysterious" (for oldgamer) of the country. Pass is not recommended.
