William Shatner’s TekWar description

FPS based on the series, based on books written by William Shatner. Yes, the same one that Captain kirk from "star Trek".

So dark and terrible future. The world chokes a terrible new drug on the basis with a simple name Tek. Recently done nightmare action - Tek began to pour into the brains of ordinary people right across the inter - ugh, the Matrix, the global computer virtual network. It is thus here engaged in proliferation of seven major gangs headed by so-called TekLords... Their names are known as areas, but no one have the courage to go against them. A secret government Agency solves the problem in a weird way - thawed from cryo-sleep former colleague, falsely accused of trade Tech, when he only appeared on the market, and sentenced to this freeze. We put a condition - if we decided to do most of these Lords would convict us...

The charms of the game several. First, the Build engine, licensed from the then still unfinished Duke Nukem 3D - the similarity of elements is obvious, not to mention tuning the system is directly taken from LameDuke. Looks very good, isn't it? Secondly, the sprites of all the characters made the capture, in the manner of Mortal Kombat, which also adds style. Third, hubs system levels - we move between areas of the city by metro, a good which plays the role of delimiter. Fourth, fifth...

We're just a passerby on the streets of the living city. If you grab the eyes of the COP a gun, we'll read the standard warnings and try to detain us. If you start shooting passers-by... well, you know. Meanwhile, agents of the Lords, too, are not asleep - if we recognize, that any of the other the same as we, the bystanders may be the same as we, a soldier of fortune - only employed by the other party.

Added to this volatile mix walks on the cyberspace a La System Shock, FMV-saver (available for download separately) and not the bad in the world voice - and we get the output quite a reasonable game. Not ideal, of course, but not wild sucks as it might seem at first.

Summary. For those who Duke was little and want a little bit more Build. For those who want to understand what would Duke 3d, if it survived all the concepts LameDuke pedestrians and police, for example. And for those few who've read the books or seen the TV series, of course.
