Ugh! description

After 8 years since the release of the cult game Space Taxi for the Commodore 64 in 1984 by a small German developer team decided to make their own version, but in the opposite entourage - we now have instead of the future will be the prehistoric world! Poor Neanderthals, living on the slopes of the rock cliffs in desperate need of the means of transport in order to visit each other's homes, and resourceful inventor to win the heart of ladies decided to help them and at the same time earn money. He will have under our control, to transport residents on a wooden helicopter with a treadle.

The main difficulty in the game, which at first may alienate inexperienced player, is control. Flying machine is very sensitive to keys, controls and accelerates with a truly reactive acceleration - and if it hits an obstacle with too much speed, you will have to pay with their lives. So precision here is the key to success. But the desire to earn the coveted bonus multipliers (like in GTA) at a very rapid transportation of passengers forcing again and again to replay levels and beat the keyboard out of desperation, even after a long workout. But on the Amiga management even more difficult!

The game is made with love, varied; at each level, the authors tried to add some feature and additional complexity. Somewhere, for example, begins to rise the water, and as soon as possible to transport all passengers get in the way of the pterodactyl or Brontosaurus. You can even find a sleeping dinosaur that your breath prevents helicopter to fly! Passengers are of all three types, but it is enough - each of the types has several of its own properties. Also, each level has a special stone with eyes is the only helper in the game, with this stone you can extend the time level (this is especially true for game two), to get rid of the pterodactyl, to bring down a Brontosaurus (the stone is activated with the Control key). In General, you won't be bored! In addition, the password system in the game allows you to return to the game even years later!

We should also say a few compliments to the design and graphics in the game. Starting with the palette, all done in a single very colorful and at the same time the "stone" style. Very nicely done fonts and numerous screensavers and logos. Men and dinosaurs are very cute and well animated, the game itself went very smoothly even on weak computers like the 386 (not 286 for the answer, but, probably, too!). The Amiga is still a very nicely done water.

The game belongs to the Golden Fund of classic DOS games, and especially worth it to pay attention to those who like to play arcade together! There are different levels of the game one player, so it's particularly interesting.
