The Beverly Hillbillies description
Beautiful quest engine World Builder (which until then was made a lot of hits) based on the American television series of the 1960-ies.
The action takes place in the twentieth century is not quite the wild West of the USA, in the South-Western part. Your hero jed Clampett, a venerable old man, a real pioneer of the Prairie, a hunter and woodsman, living in a large house on the edge of the forest with his wife and numerous family. But one day, not Patriarchal life comes to an end - his land is discovered oil, and he suddenly becomes a potential billionaire. At the same time, there are two crafty capitalist from the East, each of which pretends to be a friend and offers unobtrusive to sell the land... but first jed decides to organize production on their own, and the money is sent along with the old wife in Los Angeles to see the city life. And then begins a humorous "sitcom" - sometimes funny ("Rube in the city"), and sometimes very sad, because the plot of the game is actually very deep and sad.
The interface is a classic point and click, no commands or the more input there is not, to click need on everything and people (talking to them), and objects – for their going-over and takes in inventory (the pixel hunting in the game yet...). There are a number of puzzles (though fairly simple and logical, which amounts to finding a particular item and offering it to a certain point), as well as several mini-games (like hunting in the woods or wandering through the maze of city streets).
Graphically, the game is for its time, looks amazing – this is the penultimate game on the above-mentioned engine, where he showed all his technological power. At that time this was though not fantastic, but it looked just fine, and now looks more than cute, but to describe the clarity and quality of drawing is not necessary – this is a must see for yourself. However, the main thing – it's a great game, surprisingly kind and warm, a lot of humor here, but vulgarity is not. Rarely where the heroes during the passage really sincerely empathize. Verdict – not great, but very, very good, all lovers of quests is highly recommended to passage.
