Striker ’95 description
Football game, sequel to Striker, released a few years later and has retained all the good that was in the original, while adding and a lot of wonderful innovations.
In the game there are over fifty teams and clubs and more than five thousand players. There are several game modes: training, friendly match and several variants of the championship (from the League to the world Cup); you can also set the duration of the match – from two to ten minutes. Before you start, you can choose the country team, the color of the uniforms and tactical scheme for the match. But if you don't like any of the suggested – no problem! You can enter a name of their own country, to form its team from any players, though personally created, and even change the portrait of each player.
Probably the only team in the game that you could play with real player names is Rage's team of its own! Info Screen of one of the stadiums of the game.
Each player has its own unique characteristics that, though not very much affect his behavior on the field, but still if the player has little stamina he will tire much faster someone with this quality – the main trick (and, of course, all the features, albeit within certain limits, can also be edited). The other good point is the diversity of the stadium, which can host matches. But the most interesting – in the game there is even a mini-football, i.e. matches taking place inside, where the rules are known, are somewhat different.
The gameplay is heavily arcade, and the AI of the opposing team is often poor, although this is still a football simulator, not arcade, that is, the rules of a real game are here, as well as cards for their violation is also issued. The graphics of the game just wonder how good all the players sprite (although these sprites in high resolution), but the whole environment is actually three-dimensional, which creates, especially given the fact that the picture in the game is quite large for isometric soccer, a striking presence, growing more and a great sound of a match (the shouts, songs, fans, etc.). In the full version of the game there is also the speech of the commentator, the music and FMV videos.
In short, it is really one of the best football simulators of medium difficulty to play which is every fan of these games.
