Origamo description

Quite a difficult puzzle in the "Oriental" setting, which, despite the name, the art of origami has not the slightest relationship. Much closer this game is to another fun – Tangram, that is the player's task here is the make up of tiles of different shapes of any images.

This puzzle has a lengthy and no one interested in the plot. As if the action takes place in a castle-maze from which you need to find a way out. It is necessary to find the Orb of Time, which can be done only after the decision of at least the greater part of the screens-puzzles.

The game screen is really a maze, consisting of a kind of "rooms", each of which is waiting for us-the riddles. On a particular screen we only see part of the maze, but can move the map around to see other parts of it. Some rooms become available only after we solve some puzzles in other rooms. The place of the maze, which we see now (that is, which are) highlighted on the map in yellow.

In each room of the maze has three puzzle pieces (they are available in opening menu). You can immediately choose any of them to undergo and pass them in any order. Solve all the puzzles not necessarily – you can solve two or even one of the three, and then to leave the room, however, in this case to return to these puzzles will be available, but will affect it only to a smaller number of final points at the end of the game, enough to pass a solution of at least one puzzle in each room.

The gameplay is the following. On the screen the picture appears (more often for some reason the image of the Chinese dragon in different poses, but there are very different images, often from myths or fairy tales, including Chinese, Japanese, European, Egyptian, Indian) with the "imposed" her figure in grey (yet) color. This figure should be "tiled" multi-colored tiles of different shapes (there are only seven species of them, but they can be rotated and placed at different angles) that move from right to left on the strip located at the bottom of the screen. This kind of conveyor moves as you progress through the game each puzzle faster (by the way, the game has three difficulty levels, and the choice will influence on the speed of the conveyor in the first place).

Each tile needs to left click the mouse while it's still going, and then drag it to the picture and the need to turn the right mouse button to form exactly coincided with the shape of the workpiece. As soon as believe placed properly - again you need to click the left mouse button, and then the tile will be placed on the figure, and forever will remain stationary. So if you made a mistake and badly placed tiles, it can have very negative consequences for the level (in principle, few mistakes can be forgiven – forms have a lot of tiles, then you can be lucky, that will get one that will smooth out a flaw, but still make mistakes here are very dangerous).

However, this is only a small part of difficulty. It is clear that not all the tiles from those that are now traveling on the conveyor, you need at the moment or at all for this puzzle. However, the fact is that in this game they do not disappear into nowhere and congregate on the ribbon, causing the stupor of the game. To prevent this, what exactly is not you need to move to the lower band, which moves from left to right, - a kind of "trash". But there are two "but": first, at a specific moment of time in this conveyor can be only one tile, and second – only for the game to throw out there just fifty pieces, the rest will have to attach. It's nice that any of the "referenced" tiles, if it is suddenly needed, you can then out again.

However, there is another way to clean the stock of tiles is automatic. This occurs when some segment of the compiled figures is filled entirely by us. But it can lead to unpleasant consequences, for missing all pending figures, including deferred specifically. After completing the puzzle in our account are given points (different value depending on the difficulty of the puzzles), and the less we spent on her preparation time, the more will be given points.

Also sometimes we get a "bonus", which will then be needed to gain access to the previously locked room. There is still a special game mode – "adventure", in which the passing game, we are given three "lives." In the event of any loss in it is lost (or added as a negative value) the points we could earn for this puzzle. Save the game in any way. Speaking of which, I hope, from the foregoing it is clear that the game requires a good reaction, thinking and fingers.

The graphics in the puzzle we traditionally don't appreciate, but here it should be noted that the backgrounds are incredible for the quality of the drawing – often, as already mentioned, we expect dragon's muzzle, mythological scenes and landscapes just East Asia and other regions. In my opinion, Origamo is one of the best ever created puzzles, a game that is not very difficult to learn, not particularly straining the brain (including the fact that there is no limited time to solve puzzles), but it is pretty difficult to achieve in her skill and is able to captivate the long haul. Perfect example of "games for all" and, of course, a strict recommendation to all fans of intelligent computer entertainment.
