As will be seen later, the culprit - the hapless sorceress Ecstatica (Ecstatica), which in their experiments provoked a powerful demon. But the demon, in turn, did not hesitate to convene from all around goblins, Minotaurs and other evil spirits, which began the systematic extermination of all the inhabitants of the village.

Apart from all the other monsters is the werewolf. He almost neubivaemoy, and loves to hunt for the main character, showing in this case, oddly enough, pretty good AI.

Weapons, which will fight with opponents, quite a few. Perhaps this is due to a complete lack of inventory, all the things the hero carries in his hand, respectively, at the same time he can only wear two things. So sometimes the village will have to go unarmed, which is very conducive to the overall atmosphere of fear and despair.

As befits a game of this genre, backgrounds prerendered, while all objects and characters are three-dimensional and made of ellipsoids instead of polygons, which gives the game graphics a special charm.

To sum up, Ecstatica would be a pretty good game of the survival horror genre, with some original elements.
