Brutal: Paws of Fury description
Brutal: Paws of Fury is a typical fighting game in two dimensions. The plot is one big cliche: a Dali Lama summons the strongest fighters on your "Isle of brutality", in order to have a tournament. Defeat all the opponents an animal will have the honor of fighting Given. The choice of the player will be given 12 characters (not counting the two secret). This anthropomorphic animals characters which have similarities with characters from Street Fighter II: the Bunny-poprygaychik (explicit resemblance to Ryu), and Fox-sister (well, there's Chang Lee), and mouse-place (like Sagat, he enjoys Thai Boxing). Not without the so-called "cranberry" - Russian bear Ivan, the most powerful animal in the world (tracing from Zangiyev). However, the blame for such a strange plot and such characters is not worth it, so let's get to the gameplay.

The main feature of these fights is the development of combat skills of the character-after each victory learns a new special move. In the end of the first battle may not seem particularly dynamic, but the final boss (Yes, the Lama Gave) can come off in full (unless, of course, these techniques to remember). The experience is stored as a password.

The rest of the gameplay is similar to many fighting games of the early-mid 1990s: you have to beat the arms and legs and perform tricks. If a fight is particularly liked, it can "rewind" and watch in slow motion. And, of course, has a mode for two players.

In terms of graphics "the Island of brutality" looks good - bright colors and interesting backgrounds doing their thing. Although, comparing with the aforementioned Street Fighter II, the detail was slightly better (the difference in three years).
When considering Brutal: Paws of Fury remain mixed feelings. In fact, it is a parody game about martial arts, only instead of people - harmless humanoid animals. But if you close your eyes on the plot and simple graphics, it will seem not so bad, and someone even funny. And because there is something to laugh - muscular rat the size of a lion!
