Steg the Slug description
Truly an unusual arcade game in the "mechanistic" entourage with a slug in the lead role, very difficult to pass, although at first it is not very noticeable.
So, our hero – slug by the name of Steeg. He has children that are hungry. Children must be fed. Feed the children larvae. To catch crawling larvae, Steg came up with just an incredibly original way: to blow soap bubbles. The larvae will stick to them, and Steg bubbles then sends them over the air to the hungry kids who eat them. In some sense, similar, perhaps, brilliant.
And looks like all this action is even more brilliant. Larvae move across the screen one after another. Children need food constantly, and seriously if time does not give them the right amount of food, they will die. Levels in the game are many, and many of them mentioned "mechanistic entourage": different devices and machines, some of which are anything we can do to help us, but most are contrary (for example, different fire-breathing pipes and spikes, which can be used respectively to burn the bubbles with the larvae or to pierce them). Of course, such things should be deactivated, but the right button is still necessary to find, and the children wait... the Level is considered completed when children eat so much that I fall asleep, ALL at the same time (note – ALL this is specifically displayed on the screen) and sleep.
Sending grubs up in blown slime-bubbles. Feeding the brood of Tyungunz. Out of energy! Is there a slug heaven?
And there are bonuses in the form of food (Steg, too, have something to eat – otherwise he will die, however, death animations are very funny) and various devices that can be used (e.g., biomechanical stilts with which to beat a particular level).
And all this – in the one, amazing and so dear to the heart "Amiga" chart, delivering no less pleasure than some wonderful animation. If I had to describe this game in one word, it would be the word "great." Yes, sometimes VERY difficult, well, because the life of a slug that's for sure. All the lovers of colorful platformers should definitely play this game, this is a Golden classic of the genre.
